The vest comes off at the back step and goes straight into whatever task follows. No sleeves to get in the way. The synthetic fill holds its loft while the panels warm, and the full zip makes it easy to step in and out. Pockets give a place for small items. The heated panels run off a battery pack, and they warm only while charged.

One thing to check before ordering is that you will want to use a battery pack with this vest. Check that the battery size and connection match the vest’s fitting and the way you plan to carry it. If the connection does not fit, the heating panels will not run and the vest will behave like any other insulated layer.
