The zipped pocket placement on the hip sits a little higher than on our other mid layers, so a phone or gloves rest against the body instead of bouncing at the hipbone. The full zip gives a neat opening front to back. Thumb holes at the cuff extend the sleeve line and keep the cuff settled when you layer a shell over it.

Before ordering, check the stretch on the cloth against how you move: the grid fleece gives a degree of give when you reach or bend. If you want a snuger fit for layering, consider sizing with that stretch in mind.
