Pioneer Camp Men's Full-Zip Cardigan

A short, neat waistband of ribbed knit keeps the cardigan sitting where you want it and gives the front a tidy line. The full zip runs the length of the torso so the layer opens flat when warm and closes to block a raw breeze. Three pockets give room for gloves and a small map without extra bulk.

The trade off is breathability. The mixed cotton and acrylic cloth stretches and traps a fair amount of air, which helps on still, cool days but asks you to carry a lighter shell when you plan to move hard or face wet wind. It is a mid layer built to sit under a shell or stand alone on calm mornings.
